After identifying your vehicle and determining which MHD series app it falls under, you next must make sure you have the right hardware. There are two pieces to this puzzle: the mobile device, and the wireless adapter or cable which will connect with the car.
Mobile Device
The only mobile device requirement is the version of iOS or Android that the device is running. To find the version on Apple devices, open Settings > General > About. To find the version on Android devices, open Settings > About Phone (or About Device) > Android Version. Your version must be at least:
Apple iOS 10.2+
Android 6+
